Week 43 - Happy Labor Day!!!‏

We had a busy week! There are a bunch of Chinese people on the streets by the university, so we taught a ton of people who have come to Canada for just a week or two. Almost everyday was pretty full of lessons! A lot of Chinese people initially just want to learn about Christianity and Western culture as part of the experience of being here, but hopefully there will be some who actually have sincere desire to learn.

Oh, and our ward finally has an active Chinese family! We helped the Song family move to Windsor this morning. They are from Beijing, and moved to Missouri 2 years ago. The husband and wife got baptized a year ago, and they have two little kids. And they are so nice!!! Super solid and active family. It is so exciting we finally have some Chinese members in our ward to work with!! And they like to teach Elder Carroll and I Chinese idioms, haha :D

And no transfer call on Sunday, meaning Elder Carroll and I are staying in Windsor at least another 6 weeks! And everyone else in my district is staying! Woohoo!

I can't think of any cool stories this week... but we took quite a few pictures by the river!

 Oh Canada...
 Our home and native land!

We taught Leo for about a month. Unfortunately, he decided not to get baptized yet. But he is in China right now. Really quiet guy, really cool though!
